Perfume Oil
It is amazing how important perfume was in ancient cultures
One technique that got better since it began is the art of creating perfumes. Five civilizations are our founding founders in perfumes: the Chinese, the Egyptians, the Hindus, the Carthaginians and finally the Israelites. We should also applaud the Romans, the Arabs and of course the Greeks. In the Old Testament, we have passages that show that perfumes were offered as offerings to Yahweh. However, the biggest applause has to go to the French who really helped boost the perfume industry.
In the world of perfumes there is a product that is almost perfect. It is a product that doesn’t smell too bad because it’s balanced. It is called perfume oil. To differentiate the various products in this industry, here is the percentage of those products that might be suited better for you in some cases. In every case we will compare the products with redolent grease, alcohol and water. Perfume is composed of 50 to 30 parts of redolent grease and percentage of water and alcohol is around 70% to 85%. You have ‘Eau de parfum’ that is composed of 8% to 30% of grease and alcohol and water has a percentage of 70 to 92%. Eau de toilette is a bit different as it contains of 4 to 8% of the grease with alcohol and water levels at about 92% to 96%. You have Eau de cologne that is create with 2% to 5% of the redolent grease and alcohol and water percentage equals to an amount of 95% to 98%. Finally you have the Splash cologne that has between 1 to 3% of the grease. Water and alcohol levels reach 97 to 99%.
Like everything else in life you have the god quality and you have the bad quality. The marketing companies of perfume are aware of this. When they produce a cheap perfume, water and alcohol are not the key ingredients of the good smelling mixture. The reason is that these producers don’t want the clients to need only one push and be ok. They are designed to fade away very quickly. Women are selective so this is why it doesn’t work well.
To make the scent disappear faster alcohol is added to the mix. For example some perfume will fade away fifteen times faster than normal perfumes. So remember, strong scent doesn’t always mean quality. You may wonder why most people often put a dab of perfume on their wrist when they try it on? Most people don’t know but it is to know what kind of perfume is right for you. If after a couple of minutes people avoid you or want to walk away from you it’s a good sign to put the bottle back where you put in. If it is a really cheap perfume, you shouldn’t even be able to smell it two hours after you put it on. When it stopped smelling it means that the redolent grease is all gone.
Finally, the biggest problem with alcohol is that it destroys the sent. There is a very acid product they put in and it is called Ethyl.
The future of perfume is unknown. It could be phased out gradually by a more more visually-oriented society
